wow.. gorgeously done. I love black and white shots, and i just love this - it has been a while since ive seen such a nice portrait done at this type of angle. the hair definately makes this shot, really adds a lot to the feel of the image. well done, truely!!

"The Lady in the Red Dress" was better, frankly. I just don't feel much from this one. :/ However, I do have a cold, so all of my senses are dulled at the moment.

I think that your placement of a thick white border is a stroke of genius, though. It makes the entire photo look a lot better and goes to show how the artistic inclusion of things like a border can make or break a piece.

I think she should be smiling, or her eyes shouldn't be so big... her face expression just has me confused

I agree about the facial expression, and her head being tilted downward not only screws up the neck line(i know you said not to remind you, but this deals also with the other thing), it also makes her chin look large. In relation to that, her pose, along with the ribbon around her neck makes her face look small, and the rest of her body look large. I think that the photo would be better without the ribbon around the neck, and her eyes should be more expressive. The ribbon around the neck is probably what threw off the neckline, and made her head look small in comparison to her body. Anyways, and rant. I do like how she's not directly in the center though, and her hair.
